Welcome to Hazelwood,
Thank you for spending time here with us today. We want you to get the best from your experience with us here, so we thought it would be nice to let you know what we do to make life easier for you.
Email:
Confirming bookings – Sent at the time of booking. We recommend your appointment date and time be added to your personal calendar. These are NO REPLY emails.
Updates and news – Are kept to a minimum, usually about once a month. These are NO REPLY emails.
Availability – Sent regularly with the same title 'Availability' so you can choose not to open if this is not something you need that day.
Text:
*Text reminders - A free automated text reminder is sent 48 hours prior to appointments where you can confirm your booking or alert us in advance if you need to reschedule. These are NO REPLY texts.
This courtesy text is a prompt only, we recommend your appointment date and time be added to your personal calendar.
Text reviews – sent after a treatment, helping us maintain our high standards and for others to hear about your comments.
Cancellations:
Cancellations must be received no later than 48 hours prior to the arrival date to be considered.
- If your appointment is cancelled with
more than 48 hour s notice your deposit will be fully refunded or transferred to any new appointment that you make. - Any cancellation made with less than 24 hours notice shall be charged at the full price of the booking.
- Non-arrival without notice: a charge of the total value of the booking will be applied.
No shows or late cancellations - If less than 24 hours notice is given to cancel an appointment we do all we can to refill this space through our waiting list and marketing tools. However where this has not been possible we reserve the right to charge a full cancellation fee.

BOOKING POLICY- Online reservation fee/deposit guidance:
Online reservation fee/deposit - take a minimal online fee of 96p per scheduled visit. Your online deposit is a reservation fee/deposit charged by a secure banking online booking service. Hazelwood does not receive this fee but does absorb your reservation fee/deposit by deduct it from your appointment at your visit. The 'payment due on arrival' at your appointment is approximate as it can be subject to change at any time should the salons prices increase between reserving your booking and visiting for treatment.
Rescheduling - Your deposit will be carried over to your new appointment when using the same services and same therapist (this is a 'locked' transaction). Should you need to change this combination and choose either a different treatment(s) or therapist, then it is necessary for you to cancel and rebook loosing your deposit. Hazelwood does not receive these deposits and can not provide a refund.
Cancelling - Your deposit will be refunded to the held bank card used at the time of your reservation only if the cancellation is made above the 24 hours period of your scheduled appointment. Hazelwood does not receive these deposits and can not provide a refund. Further details on cancellations see below.
Vouchers - Online booking does not facilitate voucher redemption at present, so a booking fee is charged but it is deducted from your service at the time of your visit. All vouchers must be presented at the appointment to be redeemed without exception.

Gift Vouchers:
Instore – a Bespoke card will be completed containing all your gift information and sealed in a Hazelwood envelope.
Online – Pay online, a digital download will be generated for you to print immediately or schedule to the gift receiver.

Vouchers can not be redeemed within the online booking process.

Appointment timings:
Appointment timings include entry, treatment and exit from Hazelwood, some service timings may vary if more or less work is needed and timings allow.
Corrective Treatment Policy:
We strive to provide the highest quality of service, ensuring that each treatment meets your expectations. However, should you feel that a service requires any corrective considerations, we are here to assist you.

If you believe corrective treatment is needed, please reach out to us within 3 days of your initial service. Prompt communication allows us to address your concerns efficiently.
Review Process
Upon receiving your request, we will conduct a thorough review of your concerns. This process ensures that we understand your needs and determine whether any corrective treatment is necessary. Our goal is to provide you with a satisfactory resolution that aligns with our commitment to quality.
Corrective Treatment
Should a corrective treatment be deemed necessary, it will be scheduled and completed within a 2 weeks window of your initial service unless otherwise stated. This ensures timely attention and resolution to your needs. Your treatment will be with a therapist of our choice.
Standard Policy for Gel nails
We offer a within one-week period after the initial application of gel nails during which clients can return for any necessary adjustments or repairs subject to availability. This policy is in place to address any issues that might arise after your appointment, ensuring your nails look and feel perfect.
What is Covered?
During the one-week period, the following issues are covered under our complimentary corrective work policy subject to all correct nail care guidance has been followed.:
- Chips: If your gel nails chip, we will repair them at no additional cost. This ensures your nails remain in excellent condition.
- Peeling or Lifting: Should you experience any peeling or lifting of the gel within the first week, we will correct it free of charge. This guarantees that your gel nails maintain their intended appearance and durability.
- Your treatment will be with a therapist of our choice.
We reserve the right to change any of our policy at any time.
Courses:
Some courses can be bought online via our vouchers. This voucher is then converted in the salon against your course. The best way to do this is to call the salon to make your first appointment giving your voucher number. Please note If you are online booking, you will be charged a deposit for a single treatment as it will not recognise voucher codes, this is non refundable (please see online booking above).
All courses unless otherwise stated are valid for 12months and are non refundable.

Visiting Hazelwood– NB* Due to the nature of ‘Me Time’ anyone under 16yrs of age are only to visit with their own pre-booked appointment.

Parking:
We have plenty of FREE off road parking as you pull up to the Salon arch window or Street parking has no restrictions.
Disabled access:
We are delighted to provide disabled access to our reception area, a downstairs access toilet, and a downstairs access treatment room. Where the downstairs treatment room allows you to receive some of our lovely treatments, the couch does not have a face breathing hole when positioned lying on your front.

Addressing Inappropriate Communications
In the unfortunate event that any inappropriate communication occurs, whether verbally or in print, it will be addressed immediately. Such behavior may lead to the immediate cessation of your treatment without a refund and no further appointments will be made.

PURCHASING
Click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished, click view basket or go on “Checkout”. You will be asked for your details.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom, your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.
We accept Visa/Mastercard/Maestro, Visa Debit and American Express.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Delivery charges:
For spend under £75 is £3.95 in the UK
For spend above £75 is free in the UK
orders within the United Kingdom mainland and are normally received between 3 – 5 working days.
Express delivery is available at a charge of £7.
For all Countries outside of UK please contact us at hazelwoodbeauty@gmail.com for delivery charges.
Charges will be calculated during the checkout process and clearly displayed before payment is taken.
DELIVERY SCHEDULE
Your UK order will normally be despatched within 2-3 working days from receipt of your order.
TAX CHARGES
20% VAT is included in the prices shown. For orders outside the UK, VAT will be deducted from your shopping cart when you enter your shipping address. Please note that local import duties may be payable on receipt of goods.
As the customer you are responsible for any VAT, duty, taxes, handling fees and customs charges required by you own country for importing consumer purchase. As we are unable to give you an estimate of these costs it is advisable for you to ensure you are aware of these prior to placing your order.
If customs fees and charges are refused at the time of delivery your order will be returned to Hazelwood and shipping costs will not be refunded.
CREDIT CARD SECURITY
All credit card numbers are encrypted when your order is placed. No card details are not held on our web site.
Purchasing Hazelwood e-Gift Cards
1. We accept the following payment methods:
- Mastercard credit & debit cards
- Visa credit & debit card
2. Your order and payment will be processed by secure banking Stripe or PayPal for Hazelwood, and your debit/credit card statement will show this.
3. All orders are subject to security checks. If additional security checks are required, this may delay the delivery of your e-gift card. If your order fails security checks, your order will be cancelled and refunded.
4. If you are sending an e-Gift card to someone else, you will have the option to include a personal message with your e-Gift card that will be included in the email to your recipient.
5. If you are sending the e-Gift card to yourself to print at home, you will receive an email with a PDF attachment. Please open, save and print the PDF as this is your e-Gift card.
Hazelwood Gift cards and e-Gift Card Terms and Conditions
1. Hazelwood Gift cards and e-gift card can be redeemed in Hazelwood Beauty Salon as part or full payment for goods and services (exclusions can apply such as Aesthetic Doctors services and our make-up artists services, other services and products may be added and may apply). Please check with the salon at the time of booking.
2. Protect your Gift cards and e-gift card and treat it as cash; lost, stolen or damaged cards will not be replaced, or exchanged for physical gift cards or cash
3. This Gift cards and e-gift card will expire 12 months from purchase unless otherwise stated.
4. Gift cards and E-gift cards ordered online can be activated with a minimum value of £10.
5. Your Gift cards and e-gift card cannot be exchanged for cash. No change or refund will be given, except in accordance with your statutory rights. Any balance remaining on the card may be applied to future purchases, provided the card has not expired.
6. Due to covid-19 Terms and conditions may be updated so please check when you make a booking. This will not affect your statutory rights.

Can I bring my child/Baby?
Hazelwood allows us to hold a space and time purely to ourselves. With this in mind we respectfully honour all paying clients with as peaceful a visit as possible to Hazelwood.
Where many of us have children and understand juggling life and self care outside of our everyday lives we only allow Minors when they have their own treatment booked at Hazelwood.
