Can me and a friend have nail treatments at the same time?
At hazelwood we have a nail room.
2 massage chairs for pedicures
2 manicure stations
We love having a gathering. Let us know how we can make a day out special for you and a friend.
What is a deluxe treatment?
Jessica has a Deluxe range of treatments to use with a traditional polish treatment or as a conditioning treatment on its own.
We use heated mitts and boot to aid the absorption of nourishing skin and nail oils and creams. This has also assisted relief with aching joints and RSI.
We do not tend to do this when using Gels as we avoid excess oils that may prevent longevity of your polish application
I don't like hand cream as it feels greasy but I need hydrating. What can I use?
There are two products that hit this spot for you
Hydracreme – a non oliv handcream in handbag size
LeRemedie serum – Liposome filled serum lifts, plumps and smoothes the hands whilst drying quickly, leaving the hands light, fresh and nourished.
How long does it take for my nails to dry?
Jessica polish is applied thickly to the nail. This luxury hard wearing polish lasts as it is slow drying!
Hands:
Be a lady of leisure! the nails are touch dry after the first hour, however they can be damaged, scuffed and smudged hours after painting. Please take care, once dry they last for 1 to 2 weeks depending on lifestyle.
Feet:
We always recommend Flip flops. Be aware that sandles can still catch a nail whilst slipping into them or may cover part of a nail whilst walking.
DO NOT COVER THE FEET UNTIL BEDTIME. That is the rule of thumb.
I smudged a nail after leaving the salon, Help?
Jessica polish is quite malleable. The first thing to do is add a drop of Phenomen oil to the top of the nail and lightly massage the polish back into a smooth finish. This usually solves most hick-ups!
I think I have fungus in my nail, can I be treated?
Fungus is a troublesome condition and very common. We unfortunately can not treat whilst there is fungus due to the nature of it being contagious. Please seek to treat this condition as it can take a while to clear up and we would love to help you have perfect nails as soon as possible.
Fungus Symptoms
You may have nail fungus if one or more of your nails are:
- Thickened
- Whitish to yellow-brown discoloration
- Brittle, crumbly or ragged
- Distorted in shape
- A dark color, caused by debris building up under your nail
- Smelling slightly foul
Nail fungus can affect fingernails, but it’s more common in toenails.
