Dear Clients, followers, friends and newcomers,
I have felt so moved by the service of our NHS both currently and over the last few years. Not only have they cared for many members of my family brilliantly through illnesses, they also came to my rescue last year and without them I would not be here today.
The Forever Friends Appeal
I feel compelled to take some action in this crisis our country (and the whole world) is going through. It is without a doubt humbling to watch our NHS workers work relentless hours without fail and simply request we stay at home.
I have set up a JustGiving page to generate some support for The Forever Friends Appeal at the RUH in Bath. The Forever Friends direct the funds to the areas they are best needed and at present it is for the workers at the RUH on the Coronavirus pandemic.
As a pledge we will be holding
one FREE treatment at Hazelwood per week to donate to a NHS worker
when we are able to re-open. This will continue for the same length of time we are held closed whilst they work to save lives.
NHS workers can contact the salon and see when the next available FREE treatment will be, make a booking and simply show us their ID at their appointment.
For all NHS workers displaying a NHS ID card, they can receive 20% discount at all other times during this same period.

When you’re here, you should know that:
- We sterilise our equipment after each client
- We disinfect our stations after every treatment using an antibacterial solution
- We store our implements in Barbicide
- Our staff are washing their hands after every single client, using handwashing technique as set
- out by the WHO
- We now disinfect our reception desk after every transaction and all door handles at regular intervals throughout the day
- We request Apple/GooglePay/contactless transactions where possible
- We are checking in with staff daily to ensure they are healthy and well, and have not been in contact with anyone who has travelled from the worst affected Covid-19 areas
Please don’t be offended, but we will be asking anyone coming to the salon for their appointment to also wash their hands on arrival.
If you have a cold, a sniffle, a cough, fever or are feeling unwell, firstly, we are sorry to hear it! And secondly, we would ask that you kindly reschedule your appointment here so that we can see you when you’re back feeling fighting fit.
If and when the time comes that we need to take extra measures, we will do so in the most responsible way as advised by the right authorities.
